We made it!

Or so says the sign at the top of the hill that holds the Arenal Lodge.

After a three-hour car drive on winding mountain roads, we are in
Arenal. The volcano was shrouded in clouds when we approached, but
they parted for a great view as we checked in.

Maybe a lava tour later??? More news soon!
